When a family speaks two languages
Perhaps your partner's family speaks another language. Or the grandparents do not understand the grandchildren's language. During visits and shared meals, there is a lot to talk about.
How a conversation works
You give the other person one earbud and wear the other yourself. In the SITranslate app on your smartphone, you choose the two languages and start the translation. What you say, the other person hears translated in their ear – and vice versa.
English also works offline, further languages can be downloaded as offline packs. The rest need an internet connection, at home for example via Wi-Fi.
For longer conversations
The earbuds have an open design: comfortable to wear, a secure fit, no pressure. The battery lasts up to 6 hours per charge, depending on use and volume. During a break, the earbuds recharge in the charging case.
