What does the other person need?
Just one earbud: you each wear one and understand each other – one set is enough for two people.
One earbud for you, one for the other person
The pack contains two earbuds. For a conversation, you give one to the other person and wear the other yourself. What you say, the other person hears translated in their ear – and vice versa.
The app runs on your smartphone
The earbuds connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth. In the SITranslate app, you choose the two languages and start the translation. The other person does not need to install anything or bring their own smartphone. When an internet connection is needed, only your smartphone needs it.
The wireless connection has a range of about 10 metres (manufacturer's figure). In a conversation, you are close to each other anyway.
Comfortable to wear
The earbuds have an open design: they are comfortable to wear, sit securely and do not press. After the conversation, you take the earbud back, and for music you wear both again.
